Innovation and drive are among my most distinguished traits as a flourishing individual in the field of engineering. I take great pride in my ability to assemble and motivate fellow colleagues to accomplish tasks in a swift organized manner with dignified and sound results. I take it upon myself to fully complete every task at hand in a thorough and timely manner and never sacrifice the quality of my work. It is my initiative to revolutionize the world of electronics with robust and exemplary engineering solutions, as well as continually expand my knowledge and understanding of the science of electricity and the world I live in.

I have always been interested in electronics growing up, so getting a degree in Electrical Engineering only made sense. Over the last 5 years of my college career and the few years before in high school I have worked on and created different projects involving electronics such as designing and building a stereo speaker system, a remotely controlled system enabling handicap children to kick a ball around, and a tremor monitoring glove for Parkinson’s Disease patients. I enjoy working with embedded systems as it involves using hardware and software in harmony and plan to pursue a career in a related field. This project has opened my eyes to what a beautiful area of research microcontroller based system are and how the possibilities for creating products like this are infinite.

Since childhood computers have fascinated me, enchanting my imagination with a digital world of infinite possibilities. As I develop and hone my skills in computer engineering, I find myself drawn to the world of high-tech, powerful personal electronic devices; again the mesmerized child. As a lifelong musician, my first major decision when enrolling in college was choosing between a music or engineering degree. Though I chose to pursue my education in the sciences, music and art remain very close to my heart. My goal is to merge the realms of technology and art. To create devices that are both powerful and beautiful, electrical and ethical. Technology is rapidly changing the way in which we interact with our world; I intend to immerse myself in this shifting paradigm to devise new technologies in an innovative and inspired manner.
